Very Light Color
Diamond clarity is assessed the same way for natural diamonds and for lab grown diamonds.
Inclusions and internal characteristic are evaluated under 10x magnification. Because inclusions are obstacles to light refracting within the diamond, they affect the sparkle.
The lower the clarity and the less brilliant the diamond will be.
Every diamond from Lighthouse Diamond is evaluated for clarity and falls within a very narrow grading range.
Carat is a unit of weight for gemstones. Derived from carob seeds which are all very close in size, this unit of measure dates back to Greek times. There are 5 carats in 1 gram.
A difference between natural diamonds which are priced based on the rarity of larger sizes, our prices for lab grown diamonds are linear. At $800 per carat, that means that whether you purchase a diamond a half carat diamond is exactly one half the price of a full carat diamond.
The facet configuration of diamonds is designed to offer maximum brilliance.
Since lab grown diamonds are identical in properties to natural diamond, they are cut in the exact same way, using the same technologies.
Lighthouse diamonds is specific about the quality of the cut in the gemstones we use and every one of our diamonds will receive a cut grade of “very good”.
